Exciting things are happening at Pinedale Elementary School this year, with the 50th Anniversary of the school.  Pinedale first opened its doors in September of 1958 and since then thousands of students have attended Pinedale School during its first 50 years.

               

The Pinedale PTA is planning a 50th Anniversary Celebration to take place Friday, May 16th, 2008 and is asking the community to provide any information for the following topics:

 

• Any names of scholars, scientists, athletes, musicians, artists, business and professional people that attended the school as students.

• The names of any third generation Pinedale families.

• Any photos of the early days of the school and the neighborhood during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

• Unique stories or memories of staff and teachers at the school .

• Recipes to share in a cookbook/history of school.
